Opalized Ammonite Specimen
Ammonites were shelled cephalopods that died out about 66 million years ago. It becomes Opalized overtime which give it they iridescent look on the outside of its fossilized shell.
The Opalized parts are sometimes removed to make jewelry or other sorts of additions to decor for it vibrant color making it called ‘Ammolite’
